Schisandra chinensis
A tart "five-flavor" berry used in traditional tonics. People reach for it around stress and steady energy. Its name comes from the way it's said to carry all five traditional flavors — sweet, sour, bitter, salty, and pungent — in a single berry. It grows on a woody vine native to forests in Northeast Asia.
